Pablo A. Canals is the Director of Finance for Life Alliance. Pablo has over 30 years of experience in the field of administration for transplantation and organ donation. He joined LAORA (then University of Miami’s Organ Procurement Organization) in January of 2001. Prior to coming to LAORA, he worked for fourteen years as an Assistant Administrator in the Division of Kidney and Kidney/Pancreas Transplantation, in the Department of Surgery at the Miller School of Medicine – University of Miami. In his current position at LAORA, Mr. Canals is responsible for the financial and administrative management of the OPO. Pablo earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Healthcare Management Certificate, a Graduate Management Certificate, and a Graduate Accounting Certificate; all from the University of Miami. Pablo is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
