Emilio Olmos Davies

 Donor Families

Emilio was born on August 20, 2019. All my pregnancies have been high risk for which I never reached 39 weeks. My pregnancy with Emilio was twins a girl and a boy. I lost the girl when I was 12 weeks pregnant and Emilio stayed in my womb. This pregnancy was not so dangerous as I managed to reach 39 weeks and I finally got to meet my prince with the most beautiful eyes. Emilio was born with reflux. At 2 months Emilio stopped breathing and thanks to taking CPR classes I managed to get him to breathe again ... thanks to God and his gastroenterologist, he never had an episode again. Emilio was the easiest baby out of my 3 kids. He was always happy, he loved his brothers, his pets, and he loved going to the pool. Until one day in an oversight pool accident of just 45 seconds our Emilio left our lives. Even though I knew CPR could not achieve to get him to breathe again, Emilio was taken to the Plantation General hospital and it was there when we got the worst news of our lives that he was not going to wake up. We decided that he had to mean the most beautiful thing not only for us but for someone else and that is how we made the decision to call Life Alliance and donate his organs. While I walked by the corridors of that hospital I thought (that I was in that hospital for a week and suffered and cried so much) I don't want to imagine what many parents feel, crying and going through months of pray for a miracle. So I thought about it this way, if I could not receive my miracle, I want my Emilio to be that miracle that some parents in any part of this world is begging on their knees for something to happen and that is how I gained not only an angel but a hero too and those beautiful souls gained a whole life to live. My Emilio will live new adventures thanks to those who have parts of him growing with them. 🤍
