Orlando Rodriguez III, DMC III, FP-C, CPTC, is an Organ Procurement manager at LAORA. He first joined LAORA as a Donor Management Coordinator prior to advancing to his current role. During the past 3 years, Orlando has been responsible for the oversight of Hope Act initiation, UM Lung protocol and Clinical guidelines, which encompasses all organ procurement organization standards and protocols. His role requires collaborative efforts with the LAORA medical director, as well as with other key staff, to ensure service excellence and monitor improvement initiatives. He holds his Associate’s of Science in Emergency Medical Services (AS-EMS) from Broward College. He is also a board certified Flight Paramedic and is a Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator. His experience allows him to contribute to multiple areas within the organization.
